| Marona Forest is one of the last naturally occurring forests on Traaka, having been conserved carefully by the Dragonry once they had perfected the processes needed to halt the environmental issues on the planet. The leaves on the native foleage are a deep red for most of the year- the final leaves fading to a pale pinkish white before completely falling during the cold season. The forest is much more still than in the past, much of the native life having been evacuated and only being re-introduced slowly. During the winter it is actually the most active, the rot-resistant leaves creating a thick layer of insulated underbrush carpet over the entire forest, creating a safe place for small creatures to hybernate for the winter months. |
